What is the Hooton Park Trust?

The Hooton Park Trust was formed in 2000 to oversee and manage the restoration of the remaining WW1/2 hangars on the former RAF airfield at Hooton Park, Cheshire. The aim is to provide company conferences/seminar facilities, as well as restoring the buildings and the site itself as valuable historic artefacts in their own right.

If you would like to use Hooton Park to host your event please contact info@hootonparktrust.co.uk.
We are keen to hear from you if you are interested in holding an event, particularly for historic motor vehicles, cars, aircraft.
We would also like to hear from you if you can help us by donating time to the trust.
These pictures show a Bus ‘running day’ held at Hooton Park recently. The event was arranged to celebrate fifty years of two of the buses. Not ‘antiques’ but certainly of a certain age when vehicles such as these were commonplace and life was somehow easier. Despite clashing with another bus event, it was well attended, and we hope to have a larger meet (or possibly several) here for bus enthusiasts next year if people want one. Photographs kindly supplied by the enthusiasts through John Nolan. Do you have any stories relating to old buses? Email them to info@hootonparktrust.co.uk Would you support a larger meeting? Let us know.
